"There's a God shaped hole in all of us and a restless heart is searching..." These are the words and lyrics to a popular song that can be heard on most radio stations these dasys.  It's a catchy tune, and one whose lyrics, while hidden under the veil of pop culture, speak of the ongoing hunger and need of people longing to connect with that which we are "made in the image of."

     What does it mean to be "made in the image of God?"  What does it mean to be a follower of Jesus?  These are questions we as people of faith wrestle with daily.  Faith is not a cement stone that is never moving or never changing.  Faith is a spiritual journey that includes struggling with these questions and many more.  At the same time however, we often find that along the way we grow into a deeper relationship with each other and with the one who has called us by name, our Lord Jesus Christ.

     We at Wake Forest Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) open our doors to any and all that are searching and wish to grow in relationship with God.  There is a joy in the journey.  There is love along the way.  There is a sound of divine grace that says, "Welcome home; welcome home!"
